We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Hi,

 

I have trying following the exact steps below and check if that may help:

 

  1. Click the network setting on the printer and locate its IP Address.
  2. Type that IP  from the browser on your PC to access its EWS page.
  3. Click the Scan tab.
  4. Under Scan to E-mail click Outgoing Email Profiles.
  5. Set the requirement info.
  6. Fill the mail settings as following:
    - smtp.gmail.com
    - 465
    - Check the box next to SSL
    - Check the box next to the SMTP Authentication option
    - Type your full gmail address as teh user name and type the gmail password.
  7. Click Save and Test but shows "The Test Was Unsuccessfull"

I have set connectivity following the steps below:

  1. Click the Network tab.
  2. Under the active connection type section click IPv4 (Wired / Wireless).
  3. Keep the IP Address Configuration as exists, under the DNS Address Configuration check the box next to Manual DNS Server.
  4. Set the Preferred DNS as 8.8.8.8
  5. Set the Alternate DNS as 4.4.8.8 /8.8.4.4

But problem remain same, failed.

 

N.B: How to installed security certificate. Please help.

Just need to verify with outgoung email permission from network or ISP provider.... If they have to open the outgoing mail server port.... Then it will work properly.......if you turn on the telnet from add/remove features through control panel on the PC/laptop.....your check through cmd promt.....

I have tested so many times with as your mentions topics which is not suppoted in here.

 

Sccaner can't completed the setup.

Important !

If you are using gmail smtp, you should set the gmail account to use less secure applications from the google account settings, else you will get username/password error, even though yo entered the correct credentials.
