Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Officejet Pro 8710 used to scan to email but now it won't. I bought a new Dell running Windows 11. The printer is totally set up and the allow less secure access is enabled. I get the messsage that my login and password are incorrect. They are the same as when I had my previous computer and the scan to email worked. I've tried removing the printer and reinstalling it and upgrading the software. No help.

Anyone????????

Thanks

John

Welcome to the HP User Community.

If you are using a **bleep** address,

(then)

Google has slammed the door shut on Less Secure Apps.

You need to comply with what Google wants or try using a Not-**bleep** address.

What else?

It is possible other email providers will (or already have) follow suit, that is, tighten the security

Results -- Settings that used to work might no longer do so unless you acquiesce to the provider's requirements.

Check with your email provider for that provider's security requirements.
