Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I cannot give you any details, but HP has released a Service Action Advisory covering the black line issue on the 3500 f1 and the 4500 fn1. (non disclosure agreements)

 

The advisory cover some serial numbers so it is now worth contacting HP Tech Support to see if your machines are in range.
