After scanning documents to my USB on the printer, I can see them, print them etc. But once I remove the USB and plug it into my computer I can no longer see the files. Where did they go? I really do not want to rescan everything. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. 

 

As I understand the files scanned to USB aren't detected on your windows 10 PC,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution: 

Which format is your USB drive using? NTFS or FAT32?

 

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

 

If you've checked with alternate USB drivers and none of them are being recognized: Click here for steps.

However, if other devices are being detected but your USB drive isn't working, you may want to keep a copy of your drive and then format it into the other format to check if it works.
