Product: HP Office Jet 6978

I would like to scan multiple pages into one PDF, but I cannot figure out how to do that.  Every time I scan multiple pages I end up an equal number of files.  I have tinkered with every possible option on the menu and I'm still coming up empty.

 

I have sourced several threads on this site in an effort to solve this, but none them are applicable.  One 6978 thread suggested go to "advanced settings" after choosing "save as pdf", but there is not an "advanced settings" to select.

 

HP Officejet 6978 (software is 6970)

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Please refer to this resources on step by step on how to scan multiple pages:

 

HP Officejet Pro 6970 series : Scan a 10 pages 2 sided document using the ADF

 

For the individual files saved after scanning, here's a resource on how to "Uncheck" that.

(Video is showing how to enable it, just need to uncheck the box show)

 

HP Officejet Pro 6960 /6970 series : Scan & save as individual PDF files
