On my new HP Envy 4520 injet printer there doesn't seem to be an option to scan to a tiff file. The only option is jpeg. Is there a way to scan to a tiff file?

After some research I found that Windows Fax and Scan software will work for scanning to tiff. Also there is a new scanning app under Windows 10 that works. Given these options I consider the problem resolved.

Hey @BobL3,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

 

I see that you are trying to scan to a tiff file from your Envy 4520 e-All-in-One Printer. While the HP Scan software can only scan to jpgs or pdf, you can scan the document at a high dpi setting and then convert the file to tiff when you're done. You can also use different scanning software to scan the documents directly to tiff.
