I have a cromebook and a HP Officejet 4620. I have no problem with cloud printing but cannot scan. I tried typing the IP address of the all in one printer into my browser which brings up the printer web page but when I hit the scan tab it says You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer. How do I remedy this. I set up the printer and it works well with multiple computers.

Hey @mac1304,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are trying to use Web Scan on your Officejet 4620 e-All-In-One Printer. I can help you with that.
To enable Web Scan:
- Open the printer's Embedded Web Server by typing in the printer's IP Address in your address bar.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click on Administrator Settings on the left.
- On the right, make sure there's a checkbox next to Web Scan.
- Click on Apply.
While you are on this page, I should mention that you do not want to check on Enable All or Control Panel lock. Doing so will render all of the features available from the printer's control panel unusable.
Please let me know if this resolves your issues. If it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

This all works to bring up the webscan page on the web interface
However, when the scan starts, I get
"PDF.js v1.4.55 (build: acf74d4) Message: Missing PDF "https://192.168.1.11/Scan/Jobs/1/Pages/1".
THis on an Asus Chromebook
Is there a PDF app required?

Every Chromebook is different, so I wouldn't know for certain, but it does sound like an app is required. I suggest contacting Asus support for assistance with that error message.
