HP OfficeJet 9010 Printer using HP Smart to scan documents and photos. The default for documents is file type PDF. For a long time the files were saved on the computer as PDF. As long as I am on the computer originally connected to the printer I can see and use the scanned files. Lately, with the same settings, when scanning a document as type PDF the document lands in the folder as a Firefox HTML document. I can see it on the one computer but the documents as type Firefox HTML cannot be found on any other device. The desktop computer used to create the scanned image is an old Dell. My mobile phone and Dell laptop can't see the files. When opening the files, they open in Firefox, not in Adobe Acrobat. How do I get the files to be of type PDF as selected when saved and not become Firefox HTML once in the folder?
