I am not getting any attachments when I scan to email with my HP Photosmart 7520.  This has worked in the past.  How do I fix this?

I have the same problem with my 7520.  I've scanned many documents to email and now only an email is sent with out any attachment.  Hoping for a solution!

I am having the same issue. No attachments when I scan to email.

I contacted Tech Support at HP and was told that the problem is with my email provider.  I explained that I had previously been able to scan to all of my email accounts and that currently none of them are working.  I tried Gmail, hotmail, Outlook, a work account and Yahoo.  All of these accounts receive an email with no attachment.  

 

I was then told that Scan to Email only works with Outlook and I need to contact Microsoft for Tech Support.

 

This is outrageous.  I am appalled at this customer service tactic to blame another company for your mistake.

 

Also, I was told upon calling that my warranty expired 4 days ago.  I have my receipt and I purchased this printer (and 1 year warranty) less than 8 months ago.  This is a very underhanded move by HP.  Unblieveable.

Same problem for me, with several different e-mail accounts (gmail, hotmail, etc)

Customer Service will be contacting me within 48 hours to "resolve" my issue. If you are currently having this problem as well please click on "kudos" (to the left) so that I can tell them how serious this problem is at that time.

I don't use ePrint but did shut the wireless icon off for two minutes and then reconnected.  I also unplugged the printer (while it was on) and left it unplugged for about a minute.  I just tried scanning again (Photosmart 5520 All-in-One) and it worked!!!!  I was ready to give up on HP too.  If it ever happens again, I guess I'll just turn the wireless icon off and see if that's what fixed the problem.  Good luck to everyone else.
