@BVGOOL, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is not sending scanned documents to a network folder, follow these steps for troubleshooting:
Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as the computer where the shared folder is located.
Verify Folder Sharing and Permissions:
- On the computer, make sure the folder is shared and accessible. Set permissions to "Read/Write" for the network users.
- In Windows, right-click the folder, select Properties, go to the Sharing tab, and check if the folder is shared with the correct permissions.
Confirm Folder Path:
- Ensure the network path entered in the printer settings matches the folder's actual network path (e.g., \\computername\sharedfolder).
- Verify details in the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) by accessing the printer’s IP address in a web browser.
Update Network Credentials:
- Make sure you have entered the correct username and password for the shared folder. This is usually your Windows login credentials.
Printer Setup:
- Access the printer's control panel and navigate to Scan > Network Folder to review settings.
- Check if you have set up the scan destination folder properly and test the connectivity.
Check Firewall Settings:
- Ensure that firewall settings on the computer or router are not blocking the printer from accessing the network folder.
Reconfigure the Scan to Network Folder Option:
- In HP Printer Assistant on your computer, select Scan, then Scan to Network Folder Wizard, and follow the instructions to set up again.
Run Scan to Network Folder Setup Again:
- Using HP Utility on macOS or HP Printer Software on Windows, reconfigure the scan to the network folder settings and test.
Validate Using Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP to access EWS.
- Go to the Scan tab, select Network Folder Setup, check all configurations, and re-save settings.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
