Glad to know I'm not the only one - though I'm sorry to hear you went through all that. I haven't started a new forum post for this issue or contacted HP Support. After the hours and hours of repetitive troubleshooting I went through with them for Shortcuts being completely broken, I'm afraid I'll have even worse luck with this specific piece of functionality being broken.
