Seems like the gui needs to be updated. This menu launches very small and is very difficult to read and use. This is the only software on this machine that is affected. Can this be adjusted? Also, this happens on my laptop screen and also my desktop screen.

Welcome to HP support community.
Could you share a screenshot of the issue you are facing with the HP scan application to assist you better?

Thank you for the screenshot.
In that case, you can change the resolution and check.
To Change Screen Resolution in Windows 10
- Click the Start button.
- Select the Settings icon.
- Select System.
- Click Advanced display settings.
- Click on the menu under Resolution.
- Select the option you want. We strongly recommend going with the one that has (Recommended) next to it.
- Click Apply.

This does not work. I am using the recommended display resolution. All other software and apps are displaying at normal resolution. If you look at other's posts, they are experiencing the same. I have tried this on multiple computers with different native screen resolutions and the same result.

Is it possible that this HP graphical interface does not respond to the 250% scaling enabled on this Lenovo display? However, I am running into the same issue on a Dell with 1280 x 1024 resolution and scaling at 100%.

I understand your concerns.
After changing the resolution, still not working.
There is no option to increase the font size.
However, we will take this as feedback and update it to the concerned team.
Have a nice day!!
