Hi,
I am trying to Scan using the HPE Easy Scan program from my Mac running, MAC OS Sequoia 15.4.1, and the Tractor Feed on the Printer is not pulling any pages in. You hear the noise of the Tractor, but it does not pull the pages in.
Need Assistance,
Thanks!

@TLTopaz, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check Paper Alignment
Ensure that the paper is aligned properly in the input tray.
Make sure the paper guides are snug but not too tight, so the paper can move easily without getting stuck.
The paper should be fresh, not curled or damaged, as this can affect the paper feed.
Check for Paper Jams
Open the printer’s paper tray and inspect for any paper jams or debris. Even a small piece of paper stuck inside can stop the tractor feed from pulling the paper.
Restart the Printer
Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes help resolve minor glitches.
Check Scanner Settings in HP Easy Scan
Open HP Easy Scan on your Mac.
Ensure you have selected the correct scanner and paper size.
Try adjusting the scanning resolution or settings to see if this helps.
Update Printer Firmware
Make sure the printer firmware is up-to-date. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
Reinstall Printer Drivers
There may be an issue with the scanner driver. Try reinstalling the latest HP drivers for your printer. Follow these steps:
Go to HP’s official website and download the latest drivers and software for your printer.
Uninstall any old drivers from your Mac, then reinstall the new ones.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

It’s great that restarting your computer and printer resolved the issue!
If the issue happens again, you might want to check for firmware updates and reinstall the printer drivers.
