I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to make my Laserjet Pro M281fdw printer perform 2-sided copies or scans (ie. from a 2-sided original to a 2-sided copy or scan). I am able to perform 2-sided (duplex) prints without any issues. I have gone into Control Panel and in the Printer Properties under Device Settings, the Duplex Unit shows as being "Installed".
When I go into the LCD menu screen under: Copy - Settings - Two-Sided - it only shows options for "1-Sided to 1-Sided" or "1-Sided to 2-Sided". There is no option for "2-Sided to 2-Sided".
Hoping someone can help (even if the resolution is that this printer does not support 2-sided to 2-sided copying or scanning). Thanks!

Hi,
The M281fdw printer supports automatic duplex printing only, it does not support scanning or copying both sides of an original automatically and therefore.
