Update password in Scan to Email

I changed my gmail password and now I cannot scan to email.  Error message says: Username or password are incorrect. Make sure both user accound and password are valid. The printer does not ask for a password in setting up scan to email. Where and how can I change it to enable this feature?

When I try to reset the password on the computer using HP Utility, I get this message:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from hpa5fd08.local. (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

And, this is a Dead End. So HP Utility cannot be used, either.

I switched from Chrome to Safari and was able to go to the insecure hp page. But, when I tested my email address with the printer, I got this (with no way around it--another dead end):

Incorrect credentials

Click "OK" to go back.

Nothing HPSmart about it.

But, then I found I could edit the email address I was scanning to, tested it and it worked!

How did you edit the email address? I checked the recipient address and it was fine.  I recently changed my gmail password too

Was this ever resolved? I cannot get my HP Utility to connect with the printer to enable an update to the scanner outgoing email address. I get the "connection is not private" error.
