Hi,
Select Copy > Document and scan the original from the glass (facing down).
Selecting Copy ID meant to scan an ID card and its attached paper from the flatbed glass, it doesn’t meant to allow copying from the feeder.

Hi,
Please make sure you load the original correctly, facing down to the glass and aligned t the marked corned.
Also, try copying from the feeder (facing up) and let me know if you may see any difference there or the same results.

The copy from the feeder comes out fine, the only thing I can’t do is a copy from the glass. Let say, I want to make a copy of an ID card or passport , I can’t feed them thru the feeder. What I do I scan them and after that I can print the PDF. I used to be able to put them on the glass an make a copy.

Please print and evaluate a Printer Status Report:

Can you see the same results as shown by the example, or may you see any missing colors or any other print quality problems within the printed report?

@Copydog- please post a separate thread for your topic, mixing too different issues together causes a confusion and not well polite for the original user asking for help on his own issue, let's keep @Ric512's topic focused on the actual problem.

Are you placing the original page on the feeder faced down @Ric512 ?
What exact behavior occur when you try copying? can you see any error on the printer screen or what exact behavior is shown?
