It's difficult to imagine what you meant to say.
In general, HP Smart is like other applications - what it does depends on the device (computer, tablet, phone) where you have the application installed and the tools available to the app on that device.
If the job did not finish, that is, you never clicked "Save", then there is no recovery - "partial jobs" do not save themselves. This is true regardless of where (on what device) you are running the HP Smart application.
Should you get to the point where the document has been scanned and you wish to save the content, you would normally have a choice (that must be made) for the Destination.
