I spent half of the night and this afternoon trying to get my printer reinstalled and install a driver to make it function.  New router last week with satelites to improve fuction and it worked for several days until something important need to be accomplished quickly. I got the email printed finally and scanned the two documents, but it went to the computer in "Windows scans."  I'll be darned if I can find any folders to retrieve them to attached to an email.  This stuff isn't supposed to be this hard.  I have done it before, but don't recall what made it work.  Any clues from the forum please?  Thanks much.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

If the HP Scan is used, the files will be saved to the "Documents" folder.  The Windows Explorer will appear after the scan showing you where the saved file is.

If you have not installed the HP Scan, you can install using this resource:

https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software (which will have the HP Scan).

Hope that helps!
