I am using the HP ENVY 7645 and at first thought it was just me. Suddenly I couldn't get the document feeder to work for scans a few weeks ago. If it is just a page or two it would be ok but I am now working through 20 or 30 pages on the scanner glass and it takes way too long. I'm glad the community here is posting about this issue and it is an HP issue with latest update. Needs to be fixed ASAP>

Don't hold your breath. It's been a month and there's no indication that anything is being done. Without going back to see all of the posts, I believe that there was only one by an HP member agreeing that it's an issue for them to address, but I don't recall her accepting the responsibility of reporting the issue to the right people. I'm sorry to be cynical but I have always wondered if these community chats are monitored with any regularity by the hosts.

Download the HP Scan and Capture APP from the Microsoft Store on your PC....I just did and it scans perfectly. Also the scan from the phone app works great as well......there just has to be something in the HP Smart program that is causing the scanned from feeder docs to keep coming out blank....HP YOU NEED TO SEND A FIX FOR THIS !!!!!

Would you please let us know when this issue will be addressed by HP? I think I speak for the others when I say that we're out here in the cold without any hope that anyone at HP even knows about the issue, let alone that corrective action is being taken. It's a helpless feeling to have spent money on a product with some features that cannot be utilized and to be without recourse.

Assuming the right people at HP are aware of this, It’s crazy to me that it has been this long and there has not been a fix. If the right people don’t know, how is it to be reported? To distribute an app that has a flaw in a primary function of that app is egregious. Imagine if an auto manufacturer made their cars with turn indicators that worked only for left turns and never acknowledges that there’s anything wrong.
