Product: hp officejet Pto 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just installed my new printer and wanted to scan a paper and save it on my computer.  I followed the touch screen instructions and told it to scan to computer, it seems to have scanned but I don't know where it is on my pc.  Any help would be appreciated.  tks

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

I think that it would have scanned it to the document folder on the PC.Or do another scan but give it a name before saving and then search that name.Then you will be directed to the correct folder.Hope this will help.

Thank you for your response.   I could not find it in m y Documents file but I did find it in a separate file called Scanned Documents which I did not know was even there.  Appreciate your help.
