Also, keep in mind that the HP Smart app is not Chrome OS optimized and not officially compatible with Chrome OS, it is officially supported on Android 7.0 or later version, it was unlikely tested on Chrome OS in any way, so please give it a try from a supported device too (Android, iOS, Windows 10, Mac OS)
