Scan to Network Folder Problem.
I have a linux server with samba running. I have added a specific user with password on the system and on Samba. I have setup 2 network folders (one for pdf's and one for jpg's) for the scans to be written to and I have setup 4 profiles under Quick Sets:
1) Profile to scan a pdf in Greyscale and send to pdf folder on server
2)Profile to scan a pdf in color and send to pdf folder on server
3)Profile to scan in jpg in Greyscale and send to jpg folder on server
4)Profile to scan in jpg in color and send to jpg folder on server
Only the first profile I setup works, all the other profiles go through the motion on the printer, but instead of displaying "sending, scan successful" messages on the printer control panel after I scan the original and press done, all other profiles display "cancelling". I have tried all perturbations inputting "use these credentials" and "use credentials of person already signed in" under the Quick Sets menu. I should also note that within Quick Sets when you put in credentials there is an option to verify, only the first profile will successfully verify.
If I delete all the network quick sets, I cannot input a new one that will verify or write to the location. I am thinking the next step will be to factory reset the printer, but first is there a way to accomplish what I want, that is, to be able to write different scan profiles to different network folders? This worked nicely with my old 8710 printer until smb1.0 support was removed from my server.
What am I missing?

I found my rather silly error. Please ignore post, all works well.
