Welcome to the HP English Community --
The printer is aware of limited settings affecting "Page Sides" --
For example: COPY and Shortcuts (created to execute particular tasks)
Printer Settings and other information that can be viewed and configured on the printer are available on the printer's touchscreen control panel and / or using the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
Printing 1-sided or 2-sided is adjusted in the application or software you are using to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer.
Applications and Software are dependent on the Operating System / version you are running on your device (computer, tablet, phone).
Available options are dependent on the printer's specifications (what the printer can do) and the type of content.

HI Dragon-Fur,
Thanks. I am on a Mac and have never had this issue before. I have several computers & printers and it is only on this printer which is at a remote location.
I'll see if I can make the change but I do have a request in to my IT people.
Thanks Again

You are welcome.
There is always a risk when we answer a question for which there is not an Operating System provided.
We have not a single MacOS system in our small home office --
I can guess and look on the 'net for examples but I cannot answer based on experience.
Yes, your best option at this point is to ask your IT department for guidance -- they should be able to help.
