Hello! I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e printer and I really need help with copying double-sided documents using the Automatic Document Feeder. The ORIGINAL document itself that I want to copy is already double-sided and I want to make an exact replica of it. However, when I go to the Two-Sided options in the copy settings, the options are only 1-Sided to 1-Sided and 2-Sided to 1-Sided.
There is no 2-Sided to 2-Sided to make a replica of the original double-sided document. There is not even a 1-Sided to 2-sided to make two documents into one double-sided document.
How can you copy a document that is ALREADY DOUBLE-SIDED to make an exact replica of what it already is? Also, how do you make TWO 1-SIDED PAGES to make ONE DOUBLE-SIDED page?
Please respond ASAP. Thank you very much!

I don't have first hand knowledge the exact specifications of the 8025e --
I do know (that) the 8000 series is missing some of the key elements included in the 9000s (for example, OfficeJet Pro 9025e).
For example,
Your printer does not include automatic Scan 2-sided to 2-sided.
Why?
The printer mechanics in the 8000s are perhaps different from the printers that support the feature.
The differences might also include limitations on how Copy works.
=============================================
You can easily recheck what is supported on your printer in Copy.
If the printer is on the network,
Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to view / adjust printer features
If the tabs (categories) includes Copy, check the available features.
Details / Example
EWS > HP Document / How-to
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
NOTE: Find printer IP address
Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Copy > Settings > Default Settings / Copy Defaults
EWS_9025_Copy_Defaults_6
What to do?
Use HP Scan (part of the full driver printer software) --
Scan the document in the ADF as a PDF file
Set Page Sides = 2 - sided (manual)
Scan all front pages - Flip and reload stack into the ADF -
Scan the back pages -
HP Scan will reorder the pages so they are in the correct order.
Save the content into a new PDF file
Open the saved file in a program or app that prints PDF (for example, HP Smart) -
Print the document two-sided
Example - HP Scan - Save as PDF - Menu - More > Destination
9025_HP_Scan_Menu_PDF_More_Destination_9
Example - HP Smart - Windows - Simple PDF Print
HP_Smart_Win_PDF_Print_8
