Hey @kurohana_kert, and welcome to the HP Forums!

I'd like to help you with your Digital Fax feature. I understand you have it setup the folder and when you test the setup it says passed, but when you receive a fax a copy is not saved in the folder you've created.

I suggest first checking the settings on the printer to ensure the digital fax has not been disabled. On the front panel of the printer, go to Setup, then to Fax Setup. From the Fax Setup menu, let's go to Basic Settings, then to Digital Fax. In the Digital Fax menu you should see the option for Enable/Disable.

If the Digital fax is enabled, let me know and I will look at what other possible causes and solutions are available.

Hello,

Please try these.

Precondition:

  1. Connect the PC and the printer into the same subnet.
  2. Create a shared folder with the read and write permissions on the PC.
  3. Check the IP Address of the PC and the printer.

Steps:

  1. Launch the Web Browser on the PC.
  2. Access the printer’s EWS by typing the printer’s IP address in the browser address bar.
  3. Click “Fax” on the Home page.
  4. Click HP Digital Fax-> Digital Fax Profile.
  5. Click “Setup” icon.
  6. Input the Network Path with \\PC IP address\shared folder or \\Hostname\shared folder and then click the “Next” button.
  7. Input the PC user’s username and password and then click “Next” button.
  8. Change the Settings as you want and then click “Next” button.
  9. Click “Save and Test” button. A test process bar prompts out during the testing.
  10. Configuration successfully message will prompt out.
  11. If there is a incoming fax received to the printer.
  12. Go to the shared folder on the PC to check the received fax.

Hope this helps for you.

I am attempting to reinstall the software for my HP 7610 OfficeJet All in one printer, since upgrading my desktop to Win. 10.  I can not get the digital fax portion of even appear in the window.  On the printer display window it says   This feature has not been set up.  Refer to printer documentation for information.  It use to work, but then it stopped.  I need help.
