I keep getting error message 346 when faxing. I have faxed to other numbers and it has gone through. Faxed 888-HP FAXME and got a return fax. I have tried slowing dow the speed and it has not helped. What else can I do? I can't work like this!

Hi @dorcase,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I noticed your post that you are getting the fax error 346 with your HP Officejet 8710 all in one printer. I am happy to help!
This error means that the remote machine (person you are faxing) failed to respond to a fax command from the local machine because the connection was interrupted. These errors can occur if the phone lines in the area to be faxed are old or there is noise (static on the phone line). Other reasons can include power outages and other power-related problems.
Retry the fax reception when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve.
