how do I reduce a copy on to a smaller size on my hp 4650 printer

I am having trouble reducing the size of a copy.  It remains the original size

Hi,

Press Copy and then click the gear icon.

Select Resize and then select Custom.

Select the value you would like (e.g 50% for half the original size) and press OK.

Press the Back arrow button once (do not press the Home button, this resets and selected settings)

Press Start Black or Color and check for any difference.
