The feature is called "Share".

Before you use Share in Windows to Scan and Share (to email),

Install "New Outlook" app or upgrade your old Windows Mail to "New Outlook".

The New Outlook Application is NOT the full software version of Outlook installed with Microsoft Office tools.

Add your email address to the New Outlook application.

Next,

Use HP Smart (Windows) as described in the printer's user manual

After the content is scanned, optionally edited, and ready to go,

Select next option as "Share"

When the Outlook app opens (can take a few seconds), Enter the Recipient, Subject, and any Text in the message body.

Click to Send

What else?

HP Smart Shortcuts can be created to send your email to pre-selected recipients.

The Shortcuts "Save" feature can save content to a supported Cloud storage account.
