Hi @PLM2024 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Unfortunately, the HP ENVY 4500 series, including the 4500 E-All-In-One Printer, does not have a built-in print preview feature for scanning. However, you can achieve the desired result of scanning multiple pages into one document using other methods. Here's a guide on how to do this:

Use HP Scan Software:

  • Open the HP Scan software on your computer.
  • Choose the type of scan you want (e.g., Document, Photo).
  • Adjust the settings as needed.
  • There should be an option to enable "Preview" or "Show Preview" before the final scan. This allows you to preview each page before saving.

Use Windows Fax and Scan:

  • Open the "Windows Fax and Scan" application on your Windows 11 computer.
  • Click on "New Scan."
  • Select the scanner and adjust settings.
  • After each scan, you can choose to preview the scan before saving.

Use Third-Party Software:

  • Consider using third-party scanning software that provides more advanced features. There are various applications available that offer document scanning with preview options.

Scan Each Page Separately:

  • Scan each page separately and save them as individual files.
  • After scanning all the pages, use a PDF editor (such as Adobe Acrobat or a free alternative like Foxit PhantomPDF) to combine the scanned pages into a single PDF document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
