I'd be happy to help you!

To scan a colored paper in black and white using your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer, you need to change the scan settings in the HP scanning software. Here are the steps to achieve this:

Using the HP Smart App

Open HP Smart:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device if you haven't already.
  • Open the app and ensure your printer is connected.

Select Scan:

  • In the HP Smart app, click on the Scan tile.

Adjust Scan Settings:

  • Before you start the scan, click on Settings or the gear icon.
  • Look for an option labeled Color Mode or similar.
  • Change the setting from Color to Black & White or Grayscale.

Scan the Document:

  • Place the colored paper on the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
  • Click on Scan to start scanning.

Save or Share:

  • Once the scan is complete, you can save the document or share it as needed.

Using HP Scan Software (Windows)

Open HP Scan:

  • Search for and open HP Scan from the Start menu on your Windows computer.

Select Scan Settings:

  • Click on Scan a Document or Photo.
  • In the scan settings, look for the Color Mode option.

Change to Black & White:

  • Select Black & White or Grayscale from the Color Mode options.

Scan the Document:

  • Place the colored paper on the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
  • Click on Scan to start the scanning process.

Save the Scan:

  • Once the scan is complete, save the document in your preferred format (PDF, JPEG, etc.).
