We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Our 2 hp officejet pro 8020 series printers has stopped scanning to email on the 20 February 2023. We are using Office 365 for business. 

 

When we use the mail flow diagnostic tool it say the email failed to recieved, we reorted this issue to Microsoft, they said  there is NO blocking process for sender address [Personal Information Removed].

 

We have also have a situation where we cannot clear all previous email accounts on the  HP OfficeJet pro 8020 series printer, as the owner has left the business, therefore there email account has been deleted and their authorisation pins are unknown.

How can we completely clear all scanning to email account from the printer without the knowing the pin numbers?

There are a few things you can try if your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series scanner is not scanning to email.

 

  • Check your email settings: Make sure that your email settings are configured correctly on your printer. You can check this by going to the printer's control panel and navigating to the email settings menu. Make sure that your email address and other settings are entered correctly.
  • Check your email service: Make sure that your email service is compatible with your printer's email function. Some email services may not be compatible with certain printers.
  • Check your network connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer and email service. If your printer is connected via Wi-Fi, make sure that the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough.
  • Update printer firmware: Check for any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website and install them. This may help to resolve any software issues that could be causing the problem.
