Danielle is right about the computer only letting you scan one page to a file each time (I'm using 8600 Plus)  But I couldn't even find the multiple page option on the computer.

Have you got an update on when we are likely to see this fix. It’s well passed the end of September and no updates on my printer yet.

Thanks

Hi Will-

I pinged the FW team last week, and it looks like end of October for this.   The fix has been made internally and checked in, but it is going thru all the verification and regression tests prior to release to public.   As soon as I know of its release I will let you all know.

Just wanted to say that I am eagerly awaiting the fix, too. My printer and PC are on different floors at home, so operating the multi-page scan from PC is not an option for me. Ideally, a configurable time-out option is best, but 30 seconds is better than 6 seconds.

I am so frustrated because of this issue!  Thanks for the blogging, but I have now wasted 1.5 hours tryng to do everything here all to find out it's a issue with the software - 6 seconds? REALLY?!?  If anyone can explain the software update issue better I would really appreciate it.  I do not have the eprint icon on the printer that is mentioned on the website to get a product update. I need to get a multi-page scan as soon as possible!  Thanks.

I figured it out....now if there was only an update!

Folks-

Last I heard from the engineering teams is that a release was due at the end of this month.  I am going to check back in with that team tomorrow and see what's going on....

Heard back from the engineering teams, the FW update had some critical issues that were resolved over the weekend.  Another week or so of test internally, and hopefully we should see this posted out to the public by mid-November.     Hang in there everyone, I know it seems that this is taking forever, but there really is a fix for it, and it WILL be in your hands soon!

Hi Folks-

I've heard news that the FW fix for this is now publically available, although I've not been able to personally verify this.    To update your FW, follow these instructions:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02879685

I can confirm that I have successfully updated my printer with this firmware and it fixes the problem, which is great news. Thanks for your effort in getting this pushed through.
