this terrible and slow app just got worse - it does not login, and a login is required if I want to scan a file locally. who on earth has such ideas? why can I not scan on a HP printer with an HP app locally, without a login or online connection...?!

 

it wants to open safari, but nothing happens, no page gets loaded. i can not login, HP smart stalls, i restart and same story again ! extremely frustrating

with safari did not work. i changed default to chrome, then it worked. thx

 

(but should work with safari on an apple...?)

Hi,

Please open System Preferences > General and ensure the default browser is set to Safari, then check for any difference.If there is still no difference, from within the Apple menu select Force Quit, then quit Safari and try logging in back via HP Smart.

 

please let me know how it goes, if you experience further issues be sure to clarify your printer model.
