linux/sane/ MFP M480 I can't scan from flatbed.

Hi,

scanning from flatbed operating from the printer works. Printing also works.

scanimage show the source options:

scanimage -d escl:http://127.0.0.1:60000 -A
Output format is not set, using pnm as a default.
scanimage: rounded value of br-x from 215.9 to 215.9
scanimage: rounded value of br-y from 297.18 to 297.18

All options specific to device `escl:http://127.0.0.1:60000':
Scan mode:
--mode Color|Gray|Lineart [Color]
Selects the scan mode (e.g., lineart, monochrome, or color).
--resolution 75|150|200|300|400|600dpi [75]
Sets the resolution of the scanned image.
--source Flatbed|ADF|ADF Duplex [Flatbed]
Selects the scan source (such as a document-feeder).

when trying to scan it errors with:

scanimage -d escl:http://127.0.0.1:60000 --source Flatbed > scan.pnm
Output format is not set, using pnm as a default.

scanimage: sane_start: Document feeder out of documents

upgraded firmware to newest version .... running out of ideas how to debug.

I had to set 3 more checkmarks (webscan, secure webscan, Enable Remote User Auto Capture) and things started to work.

The "Document feeder out of documents"-Error is absolutely missleading.
