Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New Officejet 8034e. Windows 10. i want to place multiple pages on the feeder tray, use the control panel to press scan, select my PC, then just have them sent to my PC. Am i doing something wrong? The AIO only sends one page to the PC from the glass as opposed to the feeder. i know i can do it via the feeder if i use the HP Smart software and make changes there,  but do i have to use the HP Smart?  is that the only way? i don't see anything in the settings menu to change this.
