I have win7 32bit to my laptop and can't work with hp psc1110 all in one, nice.

I install the hp soetware for 1110 but because is for xp the printer work even problems but scan can't !

Propably drivers problem, scan make the preview but after on scanning show me messages for wrong or missing driver. Also i can't add new device from control panel, don't find nothing...i try with drivers of 1500 and 1600 but don't work printer and scan.

Hp scan doctor and other apps can't installed because the install don't find framework or other additional software that needs.

Also i try generic scan drivers but nothing.

Anyone some idea?

Hi @PSC1110 ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you are encountering compatibility issues between the HP PSC 1110 and your Windows 7 32-bit operating system. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Compatibility Mode:

Try installing the HP software in compatibility mode for Windows XP. Here's how:

  1. Right-click on the installer file.
  2. Select "Properties."
  3. Go to the "Compatibility" tab.
  4. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
  5. Choose "Windows XP" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click "Apply" and then "OK."
  7. Run the installer again.

2. Windows Update:

Ensure that your Windows 7 operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, Windows Update includes drivers for older devices.

  1. Go to "Control Panel" > "Windows Update."
  2. Check for updates and install any available updates.

3. HP Website:

Visit the HP website to see if there are updated drivers specifically designed for Windows 7 32-bit for your HP PSC 1110. Download and install them.

4. HP Print and Scan Doctor:

Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor from the official HP website. This tool is designed to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. It may offer solutions or guide you through the installation of necessary components.

5. Framework and Software:

If the installation is complaining about missing frameworks or additional software, make sure that your system has the required components. Download and install the necessary Microsoft .NET Framework version and any other required software.

6. Manual Installation:

Try manually installing the printer and scanner drivers through the "Device Manager" in Windows:

  1. Connect your printer to the computer.
  2. Open "Device Manager."
  3. Locate the printer/scanner in the list.
  4. Right-click and choose "Update driver."
  5. Select "Browse my computer for driver software" and navigate to the location where you downloaded the XP drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

i try all these solution many time before you write me. Scan doctor even run very low to my laptop have find the problem that is the drivers. But i have only drivers for xp (i have the original cd) and HP don't support psc1110 for win7...so bad for me...

So, thank you but solution don't find yet.

I think to try run win xp inside win7 like virtual machine but my old laptop can't handle it, i'm pretty sure.

Perhaps if i have scanner drivers the problem will be solved
