When I try to add a CA certificate to my LaserJet Pro MFP M428dw I get the following error:
> Invalid password input. Try again.
The error doesn't make much sense as I'm trying to import a (public) CA certificate from a file, there is no password involved. Some extra info:
- The certificate comes from [content removed] and it's of course not password protected
- I checked the .pem file contents and it's a normal base64 encoded certificate
- I also tried with other CAs with no luck
- I tried both PEM and DER formats
- I tried with multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome)
- The printer is running the latest available firmware (TETONXXXXN002.2339A.00)
- It used to work in the past (a few firmware versions ago)
- I need this to enable the scan to email function
- No I don't want to disable the certificate validation
Here is a screenshot of the error:
Any hint? Thanks!

I figured it out: that error is triggered when uploading a ECC certificates. Uploading RSA certificates works fine.
