Hi @kzg23 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand how frustrating it can be when something that worked perfectly yesterday suddenly stops.
Let's try a few steps to fix the issue.
Restart Devices (Refreshing Connections)
- Restart both your Mac and HP Envy 7155 printer. This often resolves minor connectivity issues.
Check Wi-Fi Connection (Ensuring Network Consistency)
- Make sure both the Mac and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If the printer lost its connection, go through the Wi-Fi setup process on the printer again.
Re-add the Printer (Refreshing the Connection)
- On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and remove it. Then, click Add Printer to reconnect the HP ENVY 7155.
Update HP Smart and macOS (Ensuring Compatibility)
- Ensure that both the HP Smart app and macOS are up to date. Outdated software can cause sudden compatibility issues.
Reset Printing System (Clearing Conflicts)
- If nothing works, you may need to reset the printing system on your Mac (from Printers & Scanners, right-click the printer list and choose "Reset printing system"), and then re-add your HP Envy 7155.
Try updating the firmware. Click here and select your current OS.
For scan issues, download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
