iPhone 11.2
iOS

Currently if the iPhone has ios 11.2 installed, it cannot print or update firmware as there seems to be a software bug disallowing the communication between both iPhone using ios 11.2 and current sprocket print app.

This makes updating firmware and print syncing unusable on ios 11.2.

The only thing the iPhone with ios 11.2 can do is pair under Bluetooth settings.

I have followed all trouble shooting tips for this device, so Devs posting those instructions is beyond useless.

I have rolled back my iPhone software to ios 11.1 and the HP Sprocket works as intended.

Notwithstanding the above, the HP Sprocket app desperately requires an update for use with ios 11.2.

Do you know if you can you update the printer firmware with iOS 11.0 iPhone and then upgrade and use it with iOS 11.2?

I have an Android device and was planning to use it to udpate the printer firmware in hopes that it will then work with my iphone which is on iOS 11.2...

It will not work.

I used an Android phone to update the firmware.

The printer still does not work with IOS 11.2.

The current firmware (1.1.5) won’t work with ios11.2.

The fix for iOS 11.2 is now available, see the post here.
