I'm a Poly noob. We have a Trio 8800 on version 5.7.1.4145. Can someone provide the steps to upgrade the software on a Trio 8800 manually? I was given instructions by HP support but they that appear to update the provisioning profile, not the firmware. I'd update via the web gui but we use a proxy server and I can't find a proxy auth page. If someone happens to have that, can you please share? Thank you.

I contacted support and they did provide some options, but unfortunately weren't applicable; I was given instructions for updating the provisioning profile manually via USB, not the firmware. However, I was able to update. I added a proxy bypass exception to our firewall and pulled the update from Poly. Suggestion: include a proxy server authentication option in image. Thank you for the response.

Welcome to the HP Poly community.
Please be sure to check the FAQs in my signature. Depending on the software version Proxy was not fully supported. You can always use a USB Stick to upgrade the software or a local server:

Hi Steffen. Thank you for the response. After upgrading to the latest 7.x version via the online Software Upgrade process (using web gui), I expected to see the Teams option available. There is no Teams base profile available in the menu. Any ideas? I went from version 5.7 to 7.2.8. Perhaps I needed an intermediary jump first, e.g. 5.9?

Nov 04, 2021 Question: Are Poly Trio 8800 and 8500 supported to be used with Microsoft Teams?
Resolution: As explained >here< the Trio 8800 and 8500 are no longer supported as a Microsoft Teams device since 31/10/2021.
The Microsoft Teams App included in any current Poly UC Software build for Trio 8800 and 8500 is 1449/1.0.94.2020051601
I believe the latest supported release for Microsoft Teams and Trio 8800 was 5.9.5 AE
