Hello, the "Connected" and "Disconnected" voice notifications are disruptive throughout the day and even worse at night, as they start suddenly and can be particularly annoying. Is there a way to completely disable these voice notifications?
Thanks

I feel 100 percent the same. It is really annoying when the Sync says "power off" during any other activity or even at night. That could be a reason for me to switch back to Jabra, at least for use at home.
@HP: Maybe you can initiate a software change.

Hi @cloude83 Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.
I’m sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Poly Sync 40. I completely understand how important it is to have your device functioning seamlessly. To assist you in resolving this, I recommend following the troubleshooting steps below:
1. Check and Update Firmware: Please verify and ensure the firmware of your Poly Sync 40 is up to date using the Poly Lens application.
2. Disable Notifications/Alerts: You can manage and disable the voice notifications and alerts directly through the Poly Lens app.
3. Perform a Device Reset: If the issue persists, I recommend performing a reset of the Poly Sync 40 through the Poly Lens app to restore it to its default settings
.
If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.

Hi @M_Salman,
Thank you for your suggestions.
I have verified that the firmware on my Poly Sync 40 is up to date, and unfortunately, I could not find any settings in the Poly Lens app to disable the annoying voice notifications.
Do you have any other recommendations or specific steps I could try to resolve this issue?

Hello @cloude83 ,
Welcome to the HP Poly community.
You cannot disable the announcement but if you lower the volume during the announcement you can change it. Not tested myself to lower completely.
Best Regards
