Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Where can I download the driver and desktop manager for the Poly Studio P21 ??

I've been stuck in a loop here on the HP support and downloads page for over an hour, trying to get to the right files.

Using macOS 13.xx

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

A community search finds >this< or >this< post asking a similar or identical question.

 

  • If your Mac is Intel, check >here< as only Lens Desktop 1.4.0 for Mac will work
  • If your Mac is an M Processor, check >here< as Version 2.0.0 for Mac is the latest
  • The P21 uses display link drivers. Simply visit >here<.

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Hi Steffen,

 

Thanks for this response and pointers to relevant links.

 

Within the Poly Lens application, I get banner messages and the attached screenshot of the window that lists the status of the display, saying that an update is available , but when I try to do the update it fails at about 50% completed.

 

Could this be because the update is for M series chips rather than the older Intel chips? I'm installing this on a Mac with intel processor from about 2020.

Welcome back to the HP Poly community.

 

The app states that there is a Poly P21 update, so this has nothing to do with the compatibility of the Poly Lens Desktop between Intel and M chips.

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Windows users need to update to latest DisplayLink Manager Drivers here : Windows Driver Downloads for Downloads Section | Synaptics

Should be able to detect and set monitors as usual from there.
