Hello everyone, I am having difficulty importing a contacts address book into my system.
I want to do an import via a .txt file but I don't quite understand how to set the ‘Server’ and ‘FileName’ menuI have done several tests and checked the syslog, the error is always the same.
this one:

Hello ,
Welcome to the HP community.
Unfortunately, your post does not contain the currently used Software version for the HP Poly product, the HP Poly Software, or the Partner application version you use. For example, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, USB mode, SIP/H.323 mode, etc.
This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.
Please do not simply edit the original post but reply with the versions.
We remind users why this is important in the more common VoIP section FAQ or the Read 1st section.
I just updated some existing Posts to cover all options:
Jan 6, 2012 Question: How can I create a local contact directory/phonebook or what is the 000000000000-directory.xml used for?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Jan 30, 2012 Question: Can I use a central Phone book or is LDAP / Corporate Directory supported?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Feb 27, 2020 Question: Does the Poly Rove or VVX D230 support a BroadSoft XSI Network-based directory?
Resolution: Please check >here<
All of the above 3 contain Poly Rove examples.
If an issue like this cannot be resolved via a public community post, and no other volunteers reply, please work with our support organization in your region. Details on how to contact us are in my signature
Best regards
Steffen Baier

Hello Steffen,
I use software version 8.0.10 (Build: 0002) and the PBX is configured with Ms Teams.
I don't quite understand how to set the ‘Server’ and ‘FileName’ menu, I have done several tests and checked the syslog, the error is always the same.

I have also tried with a .csv file but always get the same error.
Thank you

Hello @ACS-Roberto ,
The file should be without any drive name aka just a file name. When you browse to 172.16.156.11 using a PC in the same network will it show the file or when you type
172.16.156.11\contatti.txt
I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region if no other volunteers reply. Details are in my Signature.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
