Rove 30 handsets, with multiple B4 bases and repeaters. firmware 8008 0001
i have 3 floors in a nursing home. where i have one B4 base and 2 repeaters attached to the base. the handsets do not leave the floor, and having calls hand off to the next base is not a concern,. i have the multi cell set up with the same chain ID in each base.
Currently, i have all 3 B4 bases set to primary, but intermittently the bases end up in a chain, and as a result end up searching for their primary base, which they cannot see due to the make up of the building.
Am i configuring this properly? For my set up, should i have the multi cell turned on or off?
some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hello @JMC123456 ,
welcome to the HP Poly community.
From our VoIP FAQ:
Now 10, 2023 Question: How can deploy a Rove Base Station or Register a Handset?
Resolution: Please check >here<
The above explains some of the setup but there is always the Admin Guide or our Support Organisation in your region.
This would not be a multicell setup as this is only 1x Base.
Best Regards

Thank you for your reply.
I have read all of that. I know how to connect it all as per those instructions.
However, I do not know if I am configuring it properly for my set up.
You said that my set up would not be a multicell set up because it is only 1 base. I did say that I have 3 bases in my sytem.
If you have multiple bases does that mean it always has to be configured as a multicell system?

Hello @JMC123456 ,
If these separate ROVE units do not need to be aware of the other bases and the handsets stay only with 1x base Multicell is incorrect for this deployment.
I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.
Best Regards
