Hi,

I tried to install my printer but can't get past the network installation part.

Printer is connected to Wi-fi, PC sees the printer and finds him during installation process.

But in the logfile there is this error code:

"Device install failed with -2081883393"

 

How can I get my printer to install properly?

I even can't install it over USB and I tried every step in the troubleshooting faqs.

I also tried every step in this forum thread:

Please help me I'm desperate.

P.S. Fax and scanning was installed properly, so scanning is working. Printing on the printer also works. Only installing the print driver under win7 is bugged.
