Hello, Rainbow 7000,
I have an HP Photosmart 7525 printer that is "not picking up paper from the main paper tray." I have gone through all of the steps HP offers. I have cleaned every rolling part I can find, but it still doesn't perform. Here's some observations:
When it is trying to pick up the paper, I've reached into the paper tray and can't feel that the wheels on the arm that drops down on the right are turning. The other wheels seem to be doing what they're supposed to do.
In the last week or so I had to print up about 40 sheets of Avery sticker labels. It is after this job that the regular paper started not picking up.
Someone mentioned that there is such a thing as a paper sensor that might not be working. How could I check that? Can I?
I suppose I could find someone to try to fix it, but in the end would it just be cheaper to toss it and buy a new one? That's something I don't want to do!
Thanks so much, and I'm hoping I hear from you,
Berry
