Good afternoon, everyone:

 

My wife recently purchased a new HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer for me. (It was a birthday surprise!) What I would like to know is if the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer will accept and use non HP printer cartridges (i.e., Cartridge World, etc.) in this printer? If this HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer will not accept non HP printer cartridges then I am taking the 6978 back to the store where my wife purchased it!! Thank you, very much, for your time and help.
