This is my second HP printer that is having this issue....
New HP Envy Photo 7855
Mac OS High Sierra
Iphone X
Ipad Mini
Ubee Router/Modem combo
Hello,
I have tried every step I have been able to find on the web, through support, and on the TWC/Spectrum forum. I can connect the printer to my home network, everything will run fine, can airprint and wirelessly print for a brief period of time. May be an hour passes or overnight, and the printer is no longer communicating with the network. I will get the "No airPrint Printers found" message on the iphone and ipad, the Mac will show that the printer is offline.
I can power the printer off and put the iphone on airplane mode, come back up and they will connect again briefly.
I have done the following (not necessarily in this order but all have been tried at various times):
1. Printer is connected to wall outlet
2. I have reset printer defaults and reloaded-Did not help
3. I have assigned a static IP to the printer-Did not help
4. I have assigned a static IP to the printer within the Ubee modem-Did not help
5. I have changed the modem IP start and adjusted the printer IP outside the range-Did not help
6. I have made sure the modem channel was one without a lot of interference-Did not help
I am really at my wits end and would greatly appreciate any other suggestions someone may have. This just seems really crazy to me. Someone suggested that the printer must be connected by ethernet to the modem, but I am not sure if you can still print wirelessly then?
Thank you!
