I have the same error message and i have tried to download the software several times as a retry with the same result. The printer does not howevr appear in my settings menu so at the moment is useless. The printer is an HP Envy 5546 and my computer is a Macbook pro running Mavericks 10.9.5
Is there a solution or must I send it back to the vendor? Regards chris
