Product: Deskjet Ink Advantage 3635

I bought new cartridges for my Deskjet, after the old ones (which came with the printer) were near end of life.
According to HP support page, cartridges F6U67AE and F6U68AE were suitable (marketed as 302XL).

After replacement, the printer does not recognize them.

Tried troubleshooting steps - cleaning cartridges, powering printer off and on, and it still does not recognize.

Please advise how to proceed.
